Sheila is a native of Durham, NC. She attended Salem College, has a B. A. in Education from UNC Chapel Hill, and took graduate courses at Duke University.

Sheila taught two and a half years in Durham County until her first daughter Zane, was born. Then they moved to Roxboro where their second daughter, Anderson, was born. Combining homemaking with church and community volunteer work is very enjoyable.

Currently Sheila is the Director of Roxboro Baptist Children's Department, Chairman of the Board for Piedmont Community College, and a Trustee representative for State

Board of Community Colleges and Program Committee. Sheila is also a past President of Roxboro Junior Service League, Person County Arts Council, and the Farden Study Club. In her spare time, Sheila enjoys traveling, water sports, tennis, gardening, and family activities.

Sheila was named NLJC Director of the Year in 1999.

 

 
Debra holds a Bachelor Degree in Home Economics. She is the Recording Secretary for the Janusette Delphian Club, the Newsletter / Publicity Chair for the Paris-Henry County Republican Women, and the Vice President of the Paris Garden Club. She is married to Dr. Garry Grimes. Debra was named Director of the Year in 1995. She was also recognized for the Best Pre-Cotillion Program in 1999, and Best High School Program in 2000
   

   

Lady was born in Edgefield, South Carolina. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in French and History. During her professional life, she worked in Public Relations, was legislative and press assistant for Congressman Dan Daniel of Virginia in Washington, has done free-lance writing and advertising, taught preschool music, worked with "Special Ed" students, sold couture clothing, and worked for community foundation.

As a member of the Junior League of Columbia, Lady

became an advocate for children's issues on a local and state level. As a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Lady served as Sunday School teacher, pianist for Children's Chapel, and Bazaar Chairman. Her position on the Board of Directors of the Center for Cancer Treatment & Research at Richland Memorial Hospital was one of her most important and meaningful commitments.

Lady has received numerous awards from NLJC including the prestigious "Ambassador Award".

   

   

Susan was born in Camden, Arkansas, and grew up in Texas City, Texas, from age six until 18. She married Patrick, and they moved to El Dorado, Arkansas. Susan and Patrick have one son, Ryan.

She attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a minor in English. Susan

taught Junior High Math for 11 years. She resigned to be a full time mother when Ryan was born.

Susan became an NLJC director in 1993. She was quickly named NLJC New Director of the Year in 1994. Two years later she was recognized for the Best Pre-Cotillion Program. She also received the “2000” Club Award in 2002, NLJC Director of the Year Award in 2005, and the Meritorious Service Award in 2006. Susan has received the President’s Award of Excellence for 13 consecutive years, and she now directs chapters in five Arkansas counties.

   

   

Rosalyn is a native of Newnan, Georgia. She attended Converse College and graduated with a B.S. Ed. from the University of Georgia, where she served as the Hospitality Chairman for the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Upon graduation, she was employed by the C&S Bank in Atlanta, where she was awarded the title of Miss C&S Georgia.

Rosalyn recently retired from a twenty-eight year teaching

career during which she was the recipient of the Ken Fetter Memorial Contribution Award presented by the Student Government Association of the Hertiage School where she taught for twenty-two years.

She has enjoyed being the Director of the National League of Junior Cotillions in Coweta and Fayette counties since 1994 and assisting her daughter, Bonne, in Carroll county, Georgia. Rosalyn was surprised and honored to be named Director of the Year for the National League of Junior Cotillions in 2003.
Rosalyn is married to David Boyd, a self-syndicated political cartoonist and illustrator for the likes of Jeff Foxworthy and Lewis Grizzard. They have three grown children, who are all pursuing successful careers as teachers and artists. They also have two beautiful grandchildren. The Boyds reside in Newnan, Georgia, in their restored c. 1840’s home.
